We are lobbying for transition from fossil fuel to renewal energy use. We are working with National Planning Commission and Ministry of Energy to develop a transition scenario exploring various techno-economic pathways over 10 years that will help the government to develop an effective long-term vision and associated energy-transition policies, strategies, and action plans. Considering limitations in the supply of energy from renewable sources and the need to increase energy use in consumption and production patterns, developing scenario will help address demand and supply management of electricity energy that is necessary for replacing fossil fuel by using energy produced by renewable energy sources in Nepal.
